What are the types of Property visas in the UAE?

5-year Property Visa

  • There are two types of property visas in the UAE. One of them is the 5-year residency visa given to German investors who buy property worth AED 2 million or more. To maintain eligibility you must hold the property investment for at least 5 years. This visa allows you to sponsor your family members and dependents while enjoying long term residency in the UAE.

3-year Property Visa UAE

  • The other option is the 3-year property visa. This visa is given by the Dubai Land Department to German investors who invest at least AED 750,000 in UAE property. Terms and Conditions for Property Visa in UAE

German property investors must meet the following requirements to apply for a UAE property visa:


The property must be residential and freehold.


The property value must be AED 750,000 or more.
