What is Ejari in Dubai



Ejari is Arabic word which means ‘My Rent”. It’s an electronic registration system accessible through the web and exclusively design to execute the legal requirement as well as the vision and mission of establishing a strong regulatory system. According to (RERA) Real Estate Regulatory Authority, the system of Ejari initiated on 14th March 2010 under the Provision of law no 26 of 2007. The law states that all rental contracts (residential and commercial) for properties in Dubai have to be registered through the Ejari portal. This system built to protect landlords and tenants rights in the emirates.

Ejari Govt fees in Dubai is AED 172.50 inclusive of VAT (as of July 2019). Once the Ejari registration completed you will get the official Ejari Contract. The total cost will be AED 220 including Govt. Charges and agency fee inclusive of VAT.
