Process to Setup Medical Laboratory in Dubai

In addition to the above DHA fees it is important to understand the process for the initial approval and the final inspection. At the time of initial approval, the DHA authority verifies the layout drawings of the proposed laboratory made by the interior fit out contractor. In case of any modification made by DHA, there is design modification fee of AED 500 per modification. Similarly, upon the execution of the drawings, DHA will be having a final inspection done, upon any modification of the same then an additional inspection fee of AED 1000 is charged per inspection.

Renewal Fees for Dubai DED:

Medical Laboratory license will be renewable annually and renewal Government cost for medical laboratory license in Dubai would be roughly AED 10,000. Additionally, there will be Market Fee of 2.5% of the rent of your premise and roughly AED 500 per employee you hire as part of employee accommodation fee.

Renewal Fees for DHA

Medical Laboratory license will be renewable annually and renewal fee for the DHA license would be AED 6000 and the license needs to be renewed on or before the same date of the expiry else there is a penalty of 20% of the DHA license fee per month.
