However in the expats acquiring this license they will need to mandatorily appoint an UAE National as the 51% shareholder in the case of LLC or as a Local Service Agent in the case of Sole/ Branch setup. Tajer also known as Traders License will not require an AOA/MOA or lease contract as its been issued electronically. The Legal structure acceptable is as below:

1. One person company for GCC and UAE Nationals
2. LLC Company for UAE Residents along with UAE National as shareholder
3. A Branch or sole establishment having an expat will still need a UAE National as agent

The overall fees that are involved in obtaining this license is very less compared to the normal licensing process and will vary depending on the business activities.
