Steps to Obtain a Medical Clinic License in Dubai
Obtain Trade Name and Initial Approval from Dubai Economy
Trade Name has to be booked as per the category of License which needs to be obtained. On submission of the documents of the shareholder, an initial approval is obtained from the Dubai Economy.
Initial Approval from DHA
During the initial approval stage, initial approval from Dubai Economy and trade name reservation certificate has to be submitted. The main document required at this stage is a layout/floor plan approved from Dubai Municipality as well as affection plan. Application also requires certain specific details on the basis of the medical facilities to be obtained on the License. Obtaining approval from DHA can be quite cumbersome. Obtaining a Final Approval from DHA

DHA defines general design specifications on how the reception, waiting area, lighting, signage, consultation rooms, flooring and treatment rooms have to be organized. An inspection will be conducted by the DHA officer to verify whether standards have been met. Further, a medical director has to be appointed on the facility license. On meeting the two conditions, DHA will issue a final license.
