Steps for Obtaining the Limousine License in Dubai

The activity description for this license is as follows:

➤ Luxury Motor Vehicles Services Activity Code: 4922004

➤ Activity Group: Transport, shipping and storage

➤ License Type: Commercial

➤ Activity Description: Includes firms specialized in providing passenger transport by luxury motor vehicles within or outside cities or as per order

The documents required are as follows:

• Copy of passport and visa status
• NOC if required
• Photographs

1. Obtain an Eye Test

Its mandatory to have an eye test passing certified by an external optician to obtain this license.

2. Approval from RTA

The documents, along with the eye test result, need to be submitted to the RTA Authority for approval. Upon receiving the approval from the RTA, they will issue a temporary license to practice, which must be carried at all times while practicing.

3. Applying for the theory and the Road test

The RTA will conduct a theory test, which consists of 35 questions, and the fee for the same will be AED 200. Later on, the Road test will be assigned on a specific date, and the candidate will need to be present for the test along with applicable fees of AED 200.

4. Collection of the Approval certificate

After the successful completion of the test, the certificate needs to be collected by paying a fee of AED 100 and the driving license will be issued. If in case you fail the test then the candidate will need to reappear for the same.

1. Tradename Reservation
2. Applying for the Memorandum of Association through the Notary Public
3. An office is required of at least 225 sq feet
4. Approval from Road & Transport authority(RTA)
5. Submission of business setup plan considering the financial liability of the project as required by RTA
6. An amount of AED 5 million* needs to be shown to RTA as fund availability
7. Mandatory to start the business with a minimum of 30 vehicles
8. Upon issuance of the license, the shareholder needs to sign an agreement with RTA for operating

1. License Fees Approximately AED 15000-18000 plus 5% annual rent as market fees
