How To Start A Tennis Academy In Dubai

admin

Dubai is the city of youth. We all are habituated to see people running the whole day for their work but still most of the people prefer to spend a good portion of time to shape their body in gym, outdoor games, cycling, running or at least walking. One of the all time favourite outdoor game is Lawn Tennis, and Dubai has opened a few places both for clay and grass courts to simply enjoy the game on hourly basis or to shape budding new talents.

Where to find the place?

The Tennis court can be rented inside a warehouse, from any club, hotel etc. Many people prefer to take the court on rent instead of buying as for a new entrepreneur it is economical. The entrepreneur should always keep in mind that as he wants to start a tennis academy where teenagers may come frequently hence the place should be accessible in all means and should not be very far to reach by public transportation.

Research in locality

The entrepreneur can run a survey to understand the interest of the public and the targeted mass. As many people join for tennis training hence they can run survey in schools or workplaces not having this facility to identify their potential clients.

License formation for the tennis academy

Once the survey is done then according to the taste of the targeted clients the entrepreneur takes the step by step process to form a license for tennis academy.

Selection of activity- The first phase is to select the preferable activity through which the training service for tennis can be provided. Selection of the accurate activity is very important as the whole business revolves around the activity and any mistake in selection of the appropriate activity can also cause a legal issue.

Trade name for the new company-As the activity is decided then the company Trade name can be selected. The trade name must carry the name of the activity in the suffix.

The activity and the trade name both needs to be applied and approved from the authority.

Tennis Federation

Upon confirmation of the trade name and the activity approval a No Objection Certificate (NOC) is required from the Tennis Federation of Lawn Tennis Department. This step may take approx one week.

Place selection

Once the NOC is in hand the place can be selected. As discussed previously it can be rented and the Ejari needs to be prepared for the same place. During this step it is advisable to keep some photo, video ready to show to the authority if they need or there can be also an inspection any time.

UAE National

As this is a professional license hence the expat/expats will be the 100% shareholder of the license and the presence of the UAE National will remain only as a Local Service Agent.

Submission to the authority

Now as all in place it’s the final time to submit all the documents and to sign the agreement in front of the authority. Once the amount required is paid to the authority the license will be generated.

Post License work-For most of the activities the previous step is the last step to get an active license. But for this activity there is one more step to update the license to the Tennis Association authority.

Trainer-Now as the license is ready to work the first requirement is good and experienced trainers. The trainers should have visa from the newly established tennis academy and each trainer is required to be registered with the Tennis Federation.

Now as everything is on the set to go the entrepreneur can start taking students/enthusiasts and the tennis academy can run on its own way.

The license is required to be renewed every year from the authority.

Since Dubai has started organising the tennis tournaments where the legends like Rafael Nadal, Djokovic, Roger Federer have taken part has really pushed the interest high for the teenagers and for even adults in the Emirate.

This business has seen growth from last few years steadily and has given the entrepreneurs the chance to take the responsibility to keep a sound and healthy body and mind of the Dubai city.
